Žiga Vukšinič vs David Marjanović

In their very first meeting of the season, Ziga Vuksinic wasted no time turning David Marjanović into a footnote. The first set slipped away 6-4, and just when David smelled a comeback in the tiebreak, Ziga slammed the door shut 7-6. Two sets, zero mercy, and now a spotless 1-0 head-to-head to rub in. Ziga sits fifth with 31 points and is breathing down Benjamin Redek's neck (34) — Jan Hocevar's 39 up top is the real dream. David, sixth on 26, stays exactly where he belongs: right below the man who just beat him. At least brother Luka Marjanović, floundering in 12th, can't mock him too loudly.
