Jan Hocevar, the mighty number two with 49 points, walked in as the heavy favorite and walked out having gifted a 12-10 third-set tiebreaker to the eighth-ranked Jan Sintler. Hocevar led their rivalry 3-1 and clearly assumed autopilot was enough. It wasn't. Sintler grabbed the first set 7-5, weathered a 4-6 storm, then held his nerve while the higher-ranked man's arm turned to jelly at the decisive points. This stings for Hocevar, still chasing Matevž Sever's untouchable 57 points at the summit. Meanwhile Sintler climbs at eighth (35), with Matej Jeretina (34) breathing on his neck and Žiga Kranjc (37) - Hocevar's confirmed rival - just above to hunt down.
